Data services: PTCL, Meezan Bank ink agreement

Under the agreement, PTCL will provide data centre services to Meezan Bank for its Disaster Recovery Data Centre.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) and Meezan Bank have signed an agreement for data centre services, says a press release. Under the agreement, PTCL will provide data centre services to Meezan Bank for its Disaster Recovery Data Centre. PTCL says this strategic partnership will enable Meezan Bank in disaster recovery and business continuity, reduce internal network operations cost, provide geographical redundancy and add greater resilience to its network. PTCL says its state-of-the-art data centres offer ICT solutions through secure and reliable network infrastructure, providing optimum network security, storage facilities, resource utilisation and scalability, which reduce the cost of data ownership and management.
