Enabling women: Seminars to scout for young entrepreneurs

WBDC has also started holding orientation seminars in girls’ hostels of the University of Peshawar.

The Women Business Development Centre (WBDC), Peshawar, has initiated a Youth Entrepreneurship Development Forum for potential young female entrepreneurs.


In order to familiarise them with the concepts of entrepreneurship WBDC has also started holding orientation seminars in girls’ hostels of the University of Peshawar.

One of the foremost objectives behind targeting girls’ hostels is to assure widespread representation in the audience of all respective academic backgrounds and districts of the province in the seminars. Such seminars will discover talented and skilful potential entrepreneurs from across the different departments of the Peshawar University and link them with WBDC Peshawar for further development of their business ideas.
