Capital punishment: Man convicted of killing 22 women

SIALKOT: A man convicted of killing 22 women was awarded the capital punishment by a sessions court on Tuesday. He was also ordered to pay Rs2.5 million to the bereaved families. Muhammad Yousaf was arrested a year ago for killing Razia Bibi in Pasrur. He had been kept at the district jail. During investigation, police said, he confessed to killing Razia Bibi and 21 other women during robberies. On Tuesday, Additional District Sessions Judge Chaudhry Amir Ahmed Khan announced the verdict finding him guilty and ordering him capital punishment.
