ISLAMABAD:
The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has launched work on a comprehensive plan to uplift roads and water supply infrastructure of the federal capital costing above Rs400 million, said Member Engineering Sanaullah Aman on Saturday.
He said the plan contained around 50 projects, including the widening of intersections, carpeting of roads, lane-marking, repair of drainage system and footpaths, development of parking areas, installation of new tube-wells and filtration plants. He said work on various projects have already been initiated while the rest are yet in process of tendering. Aman said, the CDA has prioritised the uplift of the sectors of the G and I series, which had been neglected in the past.
