Get the look: Black is beautiful

Karisma Kapoor was seen in this fun get-up at Anu and Sunny Dewan’s Christmas bash. We love everything she pulls out of her wardrobe and totally adore her sense of style. Here are a few tips on how to get her look:

Make Up



Karisma has got basic smokey eyes, bronzer and nude lips going for her. We recommend using Color Studio’s Carbon Black eye ink (Rs550), Hashmi kohl (Rs150), Maybelline Collosal Volume Express mascara (Rs1,000) and Mac’s Hug me (Rs1,700). Maybelline’s Dream mousse bronzer (Rs1,050) is also a good option for those who want to achieve a sun-kissed look. Apply the eye shadow over your lids, blending it well and use the kohl on the inner lids of your eyes. Finish them off with a good amount of mascara. Paint your nails in OPI’s Moonraker grey or look for a cheaper local brand of grey nail polish.

Outfit



Dressed in all black, Karisma is bringing sexy back! Pair up slim fitted black pants with a black sequinned top. Check out stores like Mantra for the top (Rs3,000) and Stone Age or Outfitters for a similar pair of pants (Rs1,200).

Shoes



Strappy black wedge sandals do the trick! Look for a similar pair at Marie Claire, Vincci or Charles and Keith (Rs2,000 to 4,000).

Hair



Karisma left her hair simple and falling over her shoulders. To achieve a look like this, straighten your hair if it’s curly, tease it at the crown to get some volume. For a nicer touch, use a shine product like Loreal’s Nutri Gloss (Rs990) or Garnier’s Anti-Frizz Sleek and Shine serum (Rs1,500).

Accessories



The accessories are perfect for the outfit; wear a sling over chain side bag over your top. Pair a black leather strap watch with some leather wristbands for a rocker chic look; check your local stores for these.
