A man died and two others were injured when a bomb inside a car blew up at a petrol pump, outside Askari IV at around 1:40am on Thursday.
The police believe that the suspect was connecting the wires between a detonator and a remote when the device exploded and killed him as well. The police also found food items from the damaged car. The CCTV cameras at the filling station were unable to provide any vital information so the police are looking into the cameras installed by the city government. All petrol and CNG stations located on Rashid Minhas Road remained closed all through Thursday.
