KARACHI:
Sindh Minister for Local Government Agha Siraj Khan Durrani announced on Tuesday that non-permanent employees of the Lyari Development Authority (LDA) have now been hired on a permanent basis. He said this after presiding over the fifth governing body meeting of the LDA. The provincial minister claimed the Pakistan Peoples Party had provided jobs to young men on merit whenever it came to power. Durrani also reviewed progress on the Hawkes’ Bay Scheme, and directed officials to ensure that various development projects are completed on time.
