Sasta model bazaar: Two flour sale points set up

A crackdown on flour hoarders is already underway, says Akram.

GUJRAT: DCO Nawazish Ali has said the district government has set up a Sasta model bazaar and two sale points at Kutchery Road for the provision of flour (atta) at a subsidy. Addressing a meeting attended by District Food Controller Syed Farmaan Raza, Deputy Officer (Enterprises) Mohammad Akram and others, he said a 20kg flour bag was available for Rs620 at the sale points set up by the department. He said similar sale points would be set up at Kharian, Serai Alamgir, Dingah and Lala Musa. He said the district officers had been directed to ensure the flour was sold at the prescribed price. He said a crackdown on flour hoarders was already underway.
