Three killed in attack on LPG tankers near Quetta

QUETTA: Three people were killed when unidentified armed men opened fire at LPG tankers in Noshki, near Quetta, Express News reported on Tuesday.

The dead have not been identified as yet.

Reportedly, the tankers were the target of the attackers.

Earlier on January 6, a government official was shot dead along with his son, while his daughter was wounded, in a firing incident in Panjgur district of Balochistan.

Violence in the province has claimed over 2,100 lives and left 3,845 injured in over 3,232 incidents of bomb blasts and rocket attacks in the last five years.

Throughout the province, sectarian killings remain the biggest challenge.
