LAHORE:

Judge Malik Tariq Zargham fixed January 9 for arguments on a petition for an FIR against singer Humaira Channa.

Channa’s lawyer submitted his power of attorney and sought an adjournment on Monday.

In earlier proceedings, the judge had sought comments from the Old Anarkali SHO on the petition. The SHO is yet to respond.

Petitioner Ch Younas said Channa and her mother owe him for jewellery containing 122 grams of gold. He said the SHO had declined his request for an FIR against the singer.
