LAHORE: After defeating India in the recent bilateral cricket series, the victorious Pakistan cricket team returned home to a roaring welcome at the Lahore airport on Monday.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Zaka Ashraf, while speaking to media at the airport, praised the team for its discipline and organised behaviour.

“The team performed like a unit of soldiers on the field,” he said.

Commenting on future bilateral series, Ashraf expressed hope that the Indian team will visit Pakistan soon.

He also added that the Bangladesh team has not said no for the proposed series and availability of dates was the only hindrance.

ODI team captain Misbahul Haq also spoke to the media and appreciated the performance of young players.

The tour - the first by Pakistan since 2007 - included two Twenty20 international matches and a three-match ODI series.

The T20 series was drawn, while Pakistan won the ODI series by defeating India in the first two matches.

Tips for PCB:....... 1. Shoib Malik should not include in team. 2. Misbah release from captaincy 3. Yunus or Misbah be the alternate choice. 4. Should be pick up alternate batsmen from 1st class league. 5. In Bangladesh Pakistan Cricket team has million of fan for those PCB should take step to play good cricket. People want them in the position of Imran Khans team. not to incapable of chasing 167 run. series win cannot be the indemnity. I hope that it should be go to the ear of PCB.

@Syed Nayyar Uddin Ahmad:

International arena and national team is no place for grooming, a player should play if he can contribute and is in good form and fitness regardless of age, seniority. Objective should be to have a team to perform on a consistent basis especially in challenging series like last year England or recently concluded India. There should be no on-job training. Any big institution is like a big ship and should be manouvered in slow and controlled way. Taking drastic action for an event which can be over due to one bad day (like it happens everytime in WC) is not a good idea in my humble opinion
