PESHAWAR: Pakistan Muslim League –Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif criticised Dr Tahirul Qadri's long march, and has reiterated that elections will not be postponed under any circumstances.
Nawaz Sharif who came to Peshawar for a brief visit on Friday to condole with the family of Bashir Ahmed Bilour, said Sheikhul Islam wanted to adopt a way of 'chaos'.
"Who gave him the right to utilise the money collected through donations for his political benefits?" he asked, adding that the self-proclaimed Sheikhul Islam was urging the poor to sell their motorbikes to pay for his long march.
The PML-N chief said that he would not allow a few men to usurp the rights of 18 million people.
Answering a question, Sharif said he could not understand the philosophy of the coalition partners of the incumbent government, who are taking part in Qadri’s long march. He questioned whether the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) would march against its own ministers.
"MQM is sitting in cabinet in Islamabad but they are also part of long march?"

I agree with Mian sahab.....I don't see any forthcoming elections in Pakistan courtesy of Qadri sahab and his supporting parties...
Stand steadfast on elections on schedule. That would be the lst nail in the coffin of the extra-constitutional powers.
180m people not 18m and he's right MQM is certainly at the top of the list when it comes to hypocrisy and double standards.
I think the bigger news is that mian sahib visited Peshawar in the first play. I love his futile attempts to portray pmln as a party that exists outside Punjab.
"He questioned whether the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) would march against its own ministers. “MQM is sitting in cabinet in Islamabad but they are also part of long march?” NS should not forget that MQM has made alliances with each ruler and broke them as soon as their rule ended. MQM's policy is consistent and has not changed in the last couple of decades. As long as they get a share they would join the next govt just like the present setup. They would dump the current setup just like they did to Gen Mush after he was out of power. No party can beat MQM in making and breaking alliance. The old politicians are great when joining the govt, and then they become evil feudal and no good.
18mio or 180mio??
Let's not be that innumerate
