Chehlum security: Arrangements completed says DCO

FAISALABAD: The City District Government (CDG) has chalked out a comprehensive plan to provide foolproof security to the processions and majalis to be held on chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) on January 3. Talking to the reporters, District Coordination Officer (DCO) Muhammad Amin Chaudhry said that all the departments concerned had been issued instructions in this regard. He also said that the chehlum processions and majalis will be watched through close circuit television (CCTV) cameras. He said the district workers had been instructed to keep the procession routes clean. Medical camps will be set up at several points on the route. A control room each has been set up at the DCO’s office and the Chowk Clock Tower.
