Remote areas: Radio stations to help enhance business activities
Rehman stressed that the business community and companies should promote radio stations in their own interest.

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Pakistan Association of Independent Radio Stations (PAIRS) have joined hands to create awareness and promote usage of radio.
In a statement issued here on Friday, FPCCI Vice President Mirza Abdul Rehman asked radio station operators to engage people in order to ensure positive tendencies in different communities.
He stressed that the business community and companies should promote radio stations in their own interest.
PAIRS President Sheikh Waseem Ahmed said “Radio offers some key benefits over other media, it is communicated orally, use local language and has relatively low cost that make it accessible for people who cannot access other media,” he said.
