Three persons held on theft charges

Two stolen vehicles and a weapon recovered.

ISLAMABAD:

The Sabzi Mandi police arrested three persons and recovered two stolen vehicles and a weapon from their possession on Thursday.

Acting on a tip-off, ASI Muhammad Akbar from Anti-Car Lifting Cell arrested Shah Nawaz and Liaqat Zaman with a stolen Pajero and a Suzuki Mehran.

Meanwhile, the same police arrested Jan Khan during patrolling in Sector I-11/4 and recovered a 30-bore unlicensed pistol with five bullets from him. In another incident, Abdul Qadeer reported to the police that his employee, Jawad had stolen his car.
