Boycotting court: Lawyers condemn Bilour’s death

The DI Khan District Bar Association also boycotted courts protesting the tragic death.

DERA ISMAIL KHAN/ PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Bar Association has strongly condemned the killing of Bashir Ahmed Bilour in a suicide attack on Saturday. The bar association held a condolence reference chaired by its president Abdul Latif Afridi, who demanded the government take immediate steps to curb terrorism. Lawyers in Peshawar boycotted court proceedings. The DI Khan District Bar Association also boycotted courts protesting the tragic death. Qyzar Khan, president of the district bar association, said the protest was being held in sympathy and to show that they condemned Bilour’s killing.

"Lawyers in Peshawar boycotted court proceedings." Could anyone tell us what courts has to do with Bilour's killings. Do they realize that it hurts their clients and no one else.It is just plain stupid of them to do so and has no respect for the courts or the people.
