Reactions to Bashir Bilour’s death on social media

People expressed grief over the loss.

@JavedAzizKhan1: Journalist Javed Aziz Khan said in reference to Bilour, ‘the killing of a person can make a few houses sad, but the death of some has the power to sadden nations’.

@asadmunir38: Asad Munir, a former intelligence officer, said ‘sorry Bashir Bilour, we as a national let you down, you as a brave man stood against the terrorists but we bring failed to support you’.

@husainhaqqani: Husain Haqqani, former Pakistan ambassador to United States, changed his picture on the social media site to ‘honour the memory of anti-Taliban ANP leader Bashir Bilour’.

Danish Baber, a drama writer, wrote on Facebook that ‘Bilour’s death is a great loss to the Pakhtuns and no one will be able to fill his space. He always stood up against terrorism and reached the spot of any terrorist incident.’
