
The pilot course was attended by residents of Shahdara. They were taught about common community hazards, family needs, how to prioritise treatment of patients in disasters, basic first aid, search and rescue and fire safety.
Addressing the participants in the training course at the Emergency Services Academy, Rescue 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer said that an effective emergency management system had been set up in all districts of the Punjab.
