LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Tariq Mehmood Zargham has sought comments from the Old Anarkali SHO on a jeweller’s petition for a case against singer Humaira Channa. Petitioner Chaudhry Younas submitted that Channa and her mother Khairunnisa had bought jewellery, containing 122 grams of gold, from him but not paid a single penny for it. Every time he asked them to pay up, they made one excuse or another, he added. Younas said he had approached the Old Anarkali SHO with his complaint, but the officer refused to register a case. He asked the court to direct the SHO to register a case against the singer. The judge sought comments from the SHO for January 4.
