Taking to task: Punjab police vows to arrest OGRA chief
IGP tells NAB officers that the Punjab police will leave no stone unturned to arrest criminals like Touqeer Sadiq
LAHORE:
A high-level meeting of top officers of different law enforcing agencies was held at the Police Club on Thursday after clear-cut directions from the Supreme Court (SC) regarding the arrest of former chairman of OGRA Touqeer Sadiq. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Muhammad Habib-ur-Rehman presided over the meeting. The IGP told NAB officers that the Punjab police will leave no stone unturned to arrest criminals like Touqeer Sadiq and also provide all possible help to the NAB authorities. On the recommendation of NAB officials, the IGP constituted a 20-member police team to be headed by SP Malik Karamat Khokhar.
