According to the bomb disposal squad members, one kilogramme of explosives had been used in the blast.

Unidentified culprits: Gas pipeline blown up in Swabi

SWABI: The gas supply remained suspended in Swabi on Wednesday when the main gas pipeline was destroyed by unidentified militants in Jehangira. Lahor police official Zulfiqar Bangash said that after the explosion police officials at the Kabul Bridge checkpoint in Jehangira informed him about the incident. Bangash’s team reached the site of the explosion and was told by resident that the explosion took place around 2:15am near a graveyard.  The main gas supply line runs through the graveyard was destroyed when the assailants had planted explosives next to the pipe. According to the bomb disposal squad members, one kilogramme of explosives had been used in the blast.
