Gunned down: Peace committee leader killed

SWAT: The leader of Manglawar Peace Committee was killed in an armed attack in Salanda area on Tuesday. Police said peace committee leader Sardar Alam and his friend Sardar Hussain were returning home when two masked men on a motorbike, opened fire at them, leaving them critically injured. They were taken to Saidu Sharif Hospital where Alam died of injuries, while Hussain is under treatment.
