Women’s rights: ‘Islam stresses rights for women’

Justice Iqbal says women should be united and demand their rights.

SARGODHA: A seminar on protection of women’s rights was held at the Government Degree College for Farooque Colony on Thursday. Addressing the seminar, Justice (retd) Nasira Javed Iqbal said it was an irony that women were deprived of their rights in Islamic countries despite the fact that Islam stresses protection of women’s rights. She said women should be united and demand their rights.
