BAHAWALPUR: Bahawalpur region chairman Shakir Mirza lauded the team’s effort in the National Twenty20 Cup after the debutants reached the semi-finals of the recently concluded event. “It shows that the region is no less than any other region of Pakistan,” said Mirza. “The good performance in the T20 event and reaching the semi-final is huge success for us. This tournament was our first major event and we learned a lot from it.”
