Four people were killed while six others were injured in separate road accidents on Sunday. Police said that a speeding bus hit a motorcycle on Jhang Road near Rasheedabad. Muhammad Shehzad, 32, and his wife, Abida, residents of Karkhana Bazaar, were injured.
Passers-by took them to a hospital, where they both succumbed to their injuries. Police said they had gotten married two months ago. In another accident, Irshad and Ghulam Rasool, residents of Chak 655-GB, were killed when a speeding truck ran into a mini loader near Chak 236-Jaranwala. Elsewhere, Abdur Rasheed, Shafiq, Liaqat, Arif, Naseer and Zakir Hussain were injured in a van-tractor collision. They were taken to a hospital, where doctors treating them said that Liaqat and Arif were in critical condition.
