Doctor’s release: Rs9.5m paid in ransom, says Umrani

PPP Balochistan president states provincial minister from Dhadhar was allegedly involved in the abduction.

President of PPP Balochistan chapter Mir Sadiq Umrani has stated that the Baloch were aware that a provincial minister from Dhadhar was allegedly involved in the abduction of Dr Saeed Ahmed Khan from Quetta, who returned home last month after 55 days in captivity.


He claimed that the government had paid Rs9.5 million in ransom, while the minister allegedly involved in the abduction was demanding Rs30 million.
