Fire: Rs5m worth of cotton bails burne

The loss was estimated at Rs5 million. No one was injured in the incident.

VEHARI: Cotton worth millions of rupees was burned in a fire on Friday in Mailsi tehsil.

Fire fighters said they put the fire out after three hours. Rescue officials said that cotton bails were being carried in a trailer to Multan when it caught fire near Tabba Sultanpur. They speculated that the fire was caused by a spark in the engine. The loss was estimated at Rs5 million. No one was injured in the incident.
