Injury on job: Three injured after roof caves in

Labourers were repairing a warehouse in the bazaar when the main wooden pillar broke and the roof fell on them.

KARAK: Three labourers were severely injured when the roof of a warehouse in Karak Purana Bazar caved in on Thursday. Dr Jamil Anwar at District Headquarters Hospital said that around 12:30pm three persons identified as Muhammad Yasin, Taj Ali and Muhammad Sattar were rushed to the emergency. “They were bleeding severely and two of them fainted,” he added. According to the reports, they were repairing a warehouse in the bazaar when the main wooden pillar broke and the roof fell on them. The doctor further said that Taj Ali was discharged after being administered first aid while the other two were still being treated.
