Kabaddi: Javed to lead World Cup squad

PKF announces 16-man squad for 3rd Kabaddi World Cup that begins on December 1.

KARACHI: The Pakistan Kabaddi Federation (PKF) announced a 16-man squad yesterday for the 3rd Kabaddi World Cup that begins on December 1 in India. Musharraf Javed, who led Pakistan to their maiden Asian title against arch-rivals and world champions India, has been retained as the captain. “We chose the best possible players who impressed most in trials,” said selection committee chief Colonel Qaiser Mustafa. “The team is a good combination of youngsters and experienced players.” Meanwhile, PKF Secretary Muhammad Sarwar revealed that two coaches will accompany the team. The squad includes Lala Obaidullah, Muhammad Sajjad, Matloob Ali, Muhammad Mansha, Muhammad Waqas Rahim, Khalil Ahmed, Muhammad Aslam,  Asif Ali,  Muhammad Irfan, Waqas Ahmad Butt, Shafique Ahmed, Muhammad Shafique, Akmal Shahzad, Muhammad Ishfaq and Muhammad Afzaal.

Pakisatn has a great team of kabaddi. All are good players.Sajjad is my best player.but I love all the team.
