Highway robberies: Bandits on the loose in Khahi village

SHIKARPUR: Five bandits snatched a mobile phone and Rs5,000 at gunpoint from a man identified as Ali Hassan Bhayo on Tuesday.

The incident took place in the outskirts of the Khahi village in Shikarpur. Separately, three armed men shot and injured a man named Khadim Buriro while snatching valuables from him.

While the residents staged a protest against the deteriorating law and order situation, police have registered separate cases against unidentified suspects.
