Accreditation council approves 46 agriculture degree programmes

ISLAMABAD:


National Agriculture Education Accreditation Council (NAEAC) approved 46 agriculture degree programs of different agriculture institutions during its seventh meeting held at the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Tuesday.


A total of 20 council members, representing agriculture universities, agriculture ministries, leading agro-industries and research and development institutions in the public and private sectors, made the decision on the recommendations put forward by the Accreditation Inspection Committees (AICs). The institutes included University of Agriculture, Faisalabad; University of the Punjab, Lahore; Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Agricultural University, Peshawar; Faculty of Agriculture, Rawalakot; Islamia University, Bahawalpur; University College of Agriculture of BZU, Multan; Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam and University College of Agriculture at Sargodha University.
