syeda | 11 years ago | Reply oh its not! ok i will repost MR. introspection... the issue has nothing to do with politics ! its purely religious! imam Ali a.s was appointed the first imam by Allah and our beloved Prophet SAWW delivered the message to muslims on the event of ghadeer when he returned from his last HAj infront of thousands of muslims(if not millions i dont know the eaxt no. but they were a lot and the event of ghadeer was a very special event and it happened in such a way that each and every muslim finds out about it ) he declared who was going to lead after him...but since there were hypocrties present at that time they went from manmade leaders...we shias only believe in imams who are appointed by none other than Allah not by humans....so it has nothing to do with politics...its as simple as that!
