According to globo.com, Huseynzade beat candidates including 1991 European Footballer of the Year Jean-Pierre Papin despite the Frenchman having managed several real teams. Huseynzade has his sights set on Europa League qualification but will have to dig his team out of relegation worries as a start.
“I’ve always wanted to work in football and have played Football Manager since 2002,” Huseynzade told Eurosport.
Speaking to a Swedish newspaper, Huseynzade explained that he had never held a real managerial position but had 10 years’ worth of experience from the computer simulation Football Manager.

to all the above talking about fifa you people have no idea how realistic football manager is. I have been playing the series since 2007 and my love for fifa(video game) has diminished with every new version of FM(football manager). This guy must be very good tactics wise to be selected and his tactics must have had worked for the team that's why he got the job. You guyz continue scoring goals and winning everything in fifa on beginner difficulty.
Lol...based on the direction football is headed, and the fact that i won all the leagues in Fifa 2011, i think i will be the next chelsea manager
I am a great striker in FIFA 13. I think I should join the team.
