Israeli aggression: Protest against attacks on Gaza

AWP Vice President says the recent killings of Palestinians are linked to Israel’s imperialism under US patronage.

ISLAMABAD: Leaders and activists of a left wing party gathered at the Aabpara Chowk on Thursday to condemn the Israeli attacks on Gaza and express solidarity with Palestinian people. Carrying banners and placards, activists of Awami Workers Party (AWP) urged the government to raise its voice against the aggression. Farzana Bari criticised the silent role of the Arab countries, saying that they cannot be relied upon to protect the rights of Muslims due to their economic dependence on the US. AWP Vice President Hassan Nasir said the recent killings of Palestinians are linked to Israel’s imperialism under the patronage of the US.
