Cng closure in sindh: CNG stations to remain closed for two days

KARACHI:

Sui Southern Gas Company has announced that all CNG stations in Sindh will remain closed for 48 hours from 9 am on Wednesday, November 21, till 9 am Friday, November 23, 2012.

This step is being taken by the gas utility to improve the line pack position all over Sindh, which has been badly disturbed due to short supply of gas from different gas fields causing depletion of line pack and low pressure in the system, said a SSGC release issued
on Tuesday.

CNG Associations, dealers and gas station owners have been informed that SSGC’s monitoring teams will be strictly checking stations during the shutdown period. CNG stations found operative will have their gas supply disconnected; which will not be restored for another 24 hours beyond the closure period.
