Security of all imambargahs to remain on high alert till Ashura: Interior Minister
A bomb planted on a motorcycle parked at a dairy shop near the Imambargah, went off and killed three people and injured over a dozen.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Malik said that he will continue to work to curb terrorism despite the criticism he received against blocking cellular services and motorcycle riding in the past.
The interior minister said that the bans were placed because of the information he had received regarding terror bids in Karachi and Quetta.
Malik said security of all imambargahs will remain on high alert till Muharram 10 in view of terrorist threats.
All possible measures are adopted to ensure security and peace in the country as per directions of the president and the prime minister, he told reporters.
He said that as a part of the security measures, entry and parking of cars within one kilometre of imambargahs and half a kilometre for motorcycles have been banned till Ashura.
He added that the government has given a “free hand” to the security agencies which are working to curb terror acts.
Malik said that Karachi and Quetta were being targeted to attain “specific objectives.” He said that he had told security agencies that motorcycles should be parked at least half a kilometer away from Imambargahs.
He said that unverified SIMs will be blocked by November 30, this year.
The interior minister also said that everyone in Karachi will be held responsible if any attack takes place in the city.

This man has no plans to secure Karachi. That's why always ban pillion riding and block mobile network service.Once he said that bike and mobile Sims have become a dangerous tool.
We must immediately surrender to this Third Force because its quite obvious we have lost. The THird Force has been active for the past 65 years (it was responsible for all bad things in Pakistan) and its clear that we just can't stop it.
Wake up the courts or pakistan and punish them. Wake up the agencies of Pakistan and punish them, Wake up the people of Pakistan and condemn them and seperate yourself from these barbarians. If we don't then nobody will be safe, nobody is safe.

Does he mean to say we will have to wage a war to fight these perpetrators because as per his saying, they must not be operating from inside this country. This man comes up with so many funny things. What is happening in Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan every body know who is behind sectarian killings IRAN. Just to make majority sect of this country comfortable with the situation this "third force" conspiracy theories are always given as an easy way out from the establishment. Truth will not be easy to swallow for majority of the people.Don't know how much time and innocent blood it will take to come out of state of denial on part of this establishment and people.

Inspector Clouseau, "blamed a third force" without naming it , at best best this is hearsay, conjecture and at worst a conspiracy theory.
Off course, it's always a 'third force', isn't it? The government will never clamp down on those actually responsible
