Reckless driving: Woman, baby die in accident
The ambulance collided with the truck head-on near the Sudhar bypass.
Two people died and three were injured in a collision between an ambulance and a truck on the Jang Road. Jhang’s Mohammad Rasheed, his brother Abdul Jabbar and mother Ghulam Fatima were going to the Allied Hospital, Faisalabad, in the ambulance for a check-up of Rasheed’s two-day-old son.
The ambulance collided with the truck head-on near the Sudhar bypass. The baby and Fatima died on the spot. Three people were injured in the accident. They have been admitted to hospital. The truck driver fled the scene abandoning the vehicle.
