Israeli strikes kill 4 in Gaza, hiking toll to 34
"Three men died in an Israeli air strike on Maghazi camp in central Gaza," said emergency services spokesman Adham Abu Selmiya.
Separately, medics said another person was killed in a strike on a motorcycle in the Tel al-Sultan neighbourhood of the southern city of Rafah, which took place shortly before a visit by Tunisian Foreign Minister Rafik Abdessalem
He was, who is expected to arrive through the Rafah border crossing with Egypt at around 0800 GMT, official sources said.
A Palestinian security source told AFP the three who died in central Gaza were all from the ruling Hamas movement, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, naming them as Ali Manameh, Hossam Abdel Jawad and Assaf Gharwish.

@Ishtiaq Bercha: Assad butchers his own people on a daily basis to the tune of some 30,000 killed over the last year and a half ! Obviously you have not seen any news of the ARAB SPRING which has toppled the Arab dictators in Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt! Assad will be next, so why are you defending him after his slaughter of Syrians???

You still haven't provided a reasonable explanation on why Gaza can't get food, medicine etc through the Egyptian border and your speculation that Egypt is afraid to upset America by providing transit for food/medicine is just more anti American blather which has zero substance.
Where are Arab leaders (Saudi,Qatar,Jordan) plus Turkey??? Where is their so called Jihad which they have started against Assad regime(the only govt in the Arab world which helps Hamass against Zionists) Why not their Jihad against Israel???

Remember when Egypt opened up its border last time with Gaza, it was jack hammered by the western powers who accused it of collaboration. Do you think Eygpt wants sanctions just like Iran and Syria who openly admit to helping gazans?, you should question the moral audacity of the western powers here. Besides I'm getting the impression that you think there's only one border whearas theirs a secound the Gaza-Israeli border which is larger and the absolute right of gazans. @Monash. Why no blather about Egypt which actually controls the Egyptian/Gaza border - what's stopping food, medicine etc from moving freely through that entry point? As far as your Gaza malnutrition rant -- I would point out that Gazan's are healthier than Pakistani's who are actually shrinking because of chronic malnutrition - just like the people of N Korea.
Hamas speaks a few languages: arabic, some english, and are very fluent violence. Israel speaks many languages, too and very fluently: peace, hebrew, english, arabic and is especially fluent in the language of violence
Can you guess which language Hamas forgot Israel is very fluent in?
All joking aside, this wouldn't have started if Hamas wasn't trying to provoke a response from Israel. I feel bad for the people of Gaza because it is their leadership that is causing their misery NOT the Israelis. There are no saints in this picture but common sense should tell you, if you poke a lion in the eye, don't be surprised when he bites you!

@Salman Nisar: One side of the story as usual. Why does Israel continue to illegally blockade Gaza which prevents food, medicine and basic life supplies to come through to Gaza. Read the UN report on malnutrition in Gaza which is directly related to this blockade. Hundreds have lost lives due to this causing anger among the usually hot blooded youth who decided to take matters into their own hands. Israel is such they won't even allow the flotila and other humanatrian assistance to come through, Its running the world's largest detention camp. Wake up and smell the blood!.
Although we should better care about Pakistan only but I find Salman Nisar's comments really surprising. Comments coming out of an ignorant guy who doesn't know anything about the facts that how things got escalated. For his kind information, Hamas started firing rockets ONLY as a retaliation when Israel killed their militarily chief 4 days back in an aerial strike.
These days the middle east conflict has become Muslims Vs Jews story. 1400 years of conflict has not settled the issue, it seems.

The world is silent on these attacks only because they know that first HAMMAS men fired dozens of (useless) blastic missiles into israel territory. they didnt harmed much but only provided justification to israel for attack
And in return Israil did attacked back with immense brutal power and now they have a justified reason too.and INNOCENT PPL PRAYING THE PRICE.
