Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, were among those who visited Shiv Sena supreme Bal Thackeray late Wednesday night at his Bandra residence who is said to be in a critical condition, and ended up getting hurt while trying to fight their way through the crowd.
Although Big B’s kurta was reportedly torn in the process, the actor later tweeted that they were both fine, reports the Times of India. “Both Abhishek and I were injured with cuts but are fine and back home now. The doctors at Matoshree helped us!” he tweeted.
He also shared his previous experiences with the former chief of the Shiv Sena on Twitter. “When I fought for my life after the Coolie accident [where Big B had a near fatal accident], he came to visit me in the hospital.” He also added how Thackeray believed him that he was innocent, when Big B was involved in a scandal and was falsely accused.
