Kayani extension case: Petitioner escapes alleged abduction
According to Advocate Rahim, he returned to Rawalpindi by bus from his native town of Sargodha and was on his way from the bus terminal in the precincts of RA Bazaar police to his residence when unidentified people in a car intercepted the taxi he was travelling in.
He added that two more cars arrived at the scene and surrounded the taxi. He alleged that they tried to whisk him away, but he put up resistance. Some passers-by subsequently gathered at the scene. The alleged abductors manhandled him before escaping.

Another drama to malign ISI and Army
@Nadir: Colonels do generals don't , some judges do but the Chief Justice doesn't . The difference is that in countries like uk everyone uses public transport including generals and judges. That is egalitarian which is based on the principle of rule of law, absence of VIP culture and I beleive also the cornerstone of Islam, and not the piety and judgement variety peddled in Pakistan. Problem starts when national security and personal security is used to condone departure from rule of law.
Was the alleged Kidnapping real or fake? - time will tell.... No one defame or file petition againt their Generals specially for extensions in the world like it is happening in Pakistan. No one defame their "country defender" like it is happening in Pakistan. This is not Democracy or even a step towards democracy.
This man has been beaten by goons of the court and wanted to shift the blame where it does not belong.
He was beaten by the Lawyers of Rawalpindi bar to defame army. Any way, such people deserve beating alongside their sponcers.
Anyone who takes the bull by its horns is surely going to get hurt. Everyone in Pakistan knows the identity of those who abduct their opponents in cars with dark glasses. This attempt was only to warn him of the grave consequences he might have to face in future.

He is Lt Colonel of the Pakistan army! He can easily take on 5 people!! He has given sacrifices!
@Ali: Resistance could just as easily mean scream like a girl and slap wildly at the air, making a scene and drawing attention. It means you don't say "ok" and go quietly.
Why would the colonel need to fabricate a story like this? Is he afraid that same might happen to him, that he need protection? I bet he must be under a lot of burden-of-proof, no doubt about that? But what's so grave with Kayani that we will be better-off without him? Let the man do the job he is doing, shall we!

He put up resistance against possibly 7-8 men alone and managed to escape without them ever following him or going straight to his house and kidnapping him. Man is the Hulk!!. They made him angry and you know what follows.
