Stealing and selling: Jail officials arrested

"The officials used to steal the commodities from the jail stores," says a police officer.

FAISALABAD: A team, headed by Faisalabad deputy inspector general (Prisons) conducted a raid at Shahpur district jail and arrested jail officials who are suspected of selling food items purchased for the jail in the market. A police official, who was part of the raiding team, told The Express Tribune that the officials used to steal the commodities from the jail stores. The team also raided their private store and seized two bags of rice, 36 packs of tea, six cartons of milk, cooking oil and pulses.
