Tent-Pegging: Festival attracts riders from K-P, Punjab

HARIPUR: Hazara’s annual tent-pegging festival launched at the Phosphate Ground on Monday with participation from 120 riders from across Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).Sheikh Club from Kalas, Haripur stood first in the competition, followed by Ghazi Club Pindi and Rawalpindi Club securing second and third position respectively. In individual competitions, Mehboob Gujar from Rawalpindi stood first and was awarded Rs15,000 cash prize. Fisha Kharal and Ahmed Yar of Royal of Hazara Club stood second and third respectively, each bagging Rs10,000 and Rs5,000.
