Missing children: Court orders police to find 8 abducted kids

KARACHI:

The Benazirabad police have been ordered to find seven children allegedly kidnapped by the suspected killers of their parents in Balochistan.

Ali Asghar Chandio had gone to the Sindh High Court for the recovery of his slain sister’s children. His sister, Ghulam Sughra, and her husband Ali alias Mengal Jamali were murdered allegedly by the man’s brothers over a property dispute in August.

The accused had also abducted the deceased couple’s seven children - five daughters and two sons - as they were witnesses to the double murder, the petitioner submitted, fearing for their lives. Chandio appealed to the court to order police to find the abducted kids. After hearing the arguments, the high court’s division bench headed by Justice Sajjad Ali Shah ordered the police officers concerned to recover the abducted children and submit the report on November 28.
