4.3 magnitude earthquake hits Chitral, surrounding areas: Express News

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 hit Chitral and its surrounding areas on Thursday, reported Express News.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.

Pakistan saw its worst earthquake in October 2005 which levelled entire villages and cities in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and nearby areas in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The 7.6-magnitude earthquake had killed 74,000 people and displaced 3.5 million.
