Fulfilling commitment: UNHCR hands over 30 laptops to school

School principal expresses gratitude, says first time in the history of Balochistan that a school received laptops.

QUETTA: United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Balochistan chapter Nasarullah Musakhail handed over 30 laptops to the Urgus High School, Muslimbagh-Qilla Saifullah. Speaking on the occasion the principal of the school, Muhammad Ishaq, expressed gratitude and said that it was the first time in the history of Balochistan that a school received laptops. He noted that almost 459 students were being imparted education in the Urgus Boys High School including 100 Afghan refugees. UNHCR Pakistan Representative Neil Wright during his visit to Refugee Affected Hosting Area projects on July 17 had committed that UNHCR would provide 30 laptops to the Urgus High School, Muslimbagh-Qilla Saifullah.
