Suspected militancy: Two IEDs defused in South Waziristan
Officials say they were informed that militants had planted two IEDs on the road.

Security forces and bomb disposal squad (BDS) officials defused two powerful improvised explosive devices (IEDs) on Gomal Zam – Wana Road on Saturday. An official of the security forces said they were informed that militants had planted two IEDs on the road, 25 kilometres towards South of Wana, the main town in South Waziristan Agency. He added that the armed forces along with BDS officials reached the area and defused them both. The official further said that they had blocked the road for nearly four hours as a precautionary measure.
