Balochistan unrest: Woman among two shot dead

QUETTA: Two people, including a woman, were shot dead in two separate firing incidents in Sibi and Turbat areas of Balochistan on Saturday. In the first incident, Abdul Hakeem allegedly shot dead his sister in Killi Hanbai Charmori, within the limits of Sibi City police station. The victim died on the spot. Hakeem immediately fled the scene after committing the crime. Police said that the murder was committed over a matrimonial issue and a search was launched to arrest him. In the second incident, a man was gunned down in Turbat area. Police said that unidentified men opened fire on Mushtaq in the Dasht area of Turbat and managed to escape. Resultantly, Mushtaq received multiple bullet wounds and succumbed to his injuries before reaching a hospital for treatment. The victim was from Sindh and police added it could be a case of targeted killing.
