QUETTA: China’s Vice Consul General Qingjiang Pan has said that Sino-Pak relations had a bright future as both countries were close allies, trusted friends and enjoyed cordial relations.  Addressing a round table conference at a hotel in Quetta which was organised by the Balochistan Economic Forum, he said: “China intends to boost economic ties with Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, which will further bring the people of both countries closer.” Pan said that the neighbours have established unique relations in different sectors and their friendship is duly based on mutual trust and understanding. He also pledged to help Balochistan in the education sector and assured that the matter of allotting scholarships for Baloch students to study in China would be conveyed to the relevant Chinese authorities. “We want traders and the people of Balochistan to visit China and know more about trade, culture and development of our country,” Pan stated.
