LAHORE: Wateen Telecom, a converged communications provider, participated in Forbes Global CEO conference, held in Dubai from October 21-23, says a press release. Wateen CEO Naeem Zamindar, who was one of the selected panellists at the event, said, “It was a great honour for me to represent Wateen, and Pakistan, at this event. Not only it was a chance to interact with global leaders, it also presented an opportunity to demonstrate Pakistan’s crucial role in the global technology and telecommunications stage.” The Forbes Global CEO Summit takes place annually and is aimed at creating an opportunity for global leaders to meet, engage in business and discuss visions for a sustainable future. This year’s summit gathered some 400 global CEOs, tycoons, entrepreneurs, up-and-comers, capitalists and thought leaders to discuss the latest trends and innovations that would drive the global economy in 2013 and beyond.
