Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance against Alcoyano in what he said was a ‘complicated’ match.

Karim Benzema and Kaka guided a weakened Real Madrid to a 4-1 win in the King’s Cup last-32 first-leg on Wednseday.

“We didn’t play a top quality match, but it was impossible to do any better,” said Mourinho. “I liked the team’s attitude in general. We won, did our part, we were professional and honoured the name Real Madrid.

“I enjoyed the match more than the result, as well as the team’s attitude because it was a match in which it was complicated to motivate people.”

I want to stay at Real,  says Kaka

Kaka’s good form against Alcoyano once again gave rise to speculation about his expected transfer from Real Madrid.

But, according to skysports.com, the Brazilian reiterated his determination to stay and prove his worth at the Spanish club for his remaining three contractual years.

“Even when there was lots of talk in the summer, I didn’t think about leaving, as I was sure I could still bring a lot to Real Madrid,” said Kaka.

“I still have three years left on my contract and I think I can contribute. I want to stay at Real Madrid, earn a place in the team and win titles.”
